Mathematics Study Abroad
Math students have the opportunity to take part in study abroad trips planned by members of the mathematics faculty. Past trips have taken students to such far-flung locations Munich, Paris, Geneva, and London. The trips offer students the chance to visit places of historical significance to the development of mathematics as well as world-class museums with exhibits documenting the history of science and math. Students receive course credit for the trips, and scholarships are available to help offset the costs of travel and tuition.
Math majors also have the opportunity to spend an entire spring semester in Europe through Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s London Studies program. Based in London, the program offers a variety of courses in history, literature, fine arts, and Christian studies that students may take to fulfill some of their core curriculum requirements.
