School of Health Professions
The School of Health Professions exists to meet the needs of patients and clients in an expanding healthcare arena. In keeping with our mission to be a service-focused institution, Â鶹ÊÓƵ offers programs in physical therapy, occupational therapy, counseling and physician assistant. Our goal is for these students to move into careers with a focus on improving the lives of those within their communities.
Each of the degree programs in the School of Health Professions meets the national accreditation standards for healthcare education, as established by its individual accreditation agency. The school is housed in Hardy Hall, which was completely renovated in 2015 and expanded in 2018 to provide state-of-the-art classrooms, laboratories, and faculty offices for the programs.
The physical therapy program has challenged me but allowed me to experience a deep level of care through professional relationships with my professors. No matter how stressed I may be over assignments, exams or a practical, Dr. Nelson shows me I have all the tools at my disposal to be successful.
