The Bluebonnet
A student-run organization in the business of capturing school spirit, tradition, and putting together the ultimate record of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ experience.
The first Blue Bonnet (originally spelled in this manner) was published in 1904. The name, Blue Bonnet, reminded students of "the large field of beautiful blue and green flowers stretching over the hill west of the college."
A thin volume, it contained individual photographs of the senior class members, and group pictures of the other classes, the few clubs and the class sports teams. In 1907, the second Blue Bonnet was published, and then it was irregularly produced until after World War I. Since 1919, the Bluebonnet has been published annually.
