DJ Tripoli joined the Â鶹ÊÓƵ School of Exercise and Sport Science faculty in Fall 2020. He played football at Whitworth University while earning his degree in Kinesiology and later went on to earn his Master's degree in Sports Conditioning and Performance from Southern Utah University. DJ is a member of multiple professional organizations, including the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA), the International Society of Sports Nutrition (ISSN), and USA Weightlifting (USAW). He is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, a Certified Sports Nutritionist through the ISSN, and a Level 1 Coach through USAW. DJ brings a wealth of practical understanding to his students. He has previous experience as a high school science teacher, personal trainer, and strength and conditioning coach. Born and raised in California, DJ enjoys the beach, road trips, and spending time with his dog, Riggins.
