Chemistry Department Grants
- 2016-17 Welch Foundation departmental grant ($30,000)
This funding allows scholarships for research students, research equipment purchase, and travel to scientific meetings. - 2015-16 Welch Foundation departmental grant ($30,000)
This funding allowed scholarships for research students, research equipment purchase, and travel to scientific meetings. - 2012 Pittsburgh Conference Memorial National College Grant ($8072.50)
Forensic Science Laboratory equipment and a Magnetic Susceptibility Balance (counts the number of unpaired electrons in a compound) were purchased with these funds, which were matched by the University. The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Chemistry proposal was one of 13 selected for funding from the 59 proposals received for consideration. - 1996-2014 Welch Foundation annual departmental grants ($30,000)
